US Presidential 

An election for president of the United States happens every four years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The next presidential election will be November 3, 2020.

The primary is Tuesday, June 2, having been postponed from the original April date because of the coronavirus. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This year, though, voters can skip the long lines at the polls by applying for a mail-in ballot.

(The Center Square) – Former President Barack Obama endorsed Joe Biden for president Tuesday, saying the former vice president is the person needed to lead the country beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb (R) postponed the state’s primary election from May 5, 2020, to June 2, 2020. The North Carolina Board of Elections also announced it was postponing the Republican primary for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District from May 12, 2020, to June 23, 2020.
