Luzerne County, Pa. – Acting U.S. Attorney Bruce D. Brandler announced today that the investigation into nine ballots that were discarded by a former temporary employee of the Luzerne County Elections Bureau has been concluded.

An election for president of the United States happens every four years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The next presidential election will be November 3, 2020.
The Primary Election is Tuesday, June 2, having been postponed from the original April date because of COVID-19. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check with your local polling place for possible changes.
This year, voters are being encouraged to apply for a mail-in ballot. You can apply online at VotesPa.com. Applications for mail-in ballots will be accepted through May 18, 2020 until 11:59 p.m.
