Washington, D.C. (AP) — The House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol has postponed a hearing that was to feature dramatic testimony from former Justice Department officials who were pressured by then-President Donald Trump to pursue his false election fraud theories.
An election for president of the United States happens every four years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The next presidential election will be November 3, 2020.
The primary is Tuesday, June 2, having been postponed from the original April date because of the coronavirus. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This year, though, voters can skip the long lines at the polls by applying for a mail-in ballot.
