Lt. Gov. John Fetterman — the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania — will return to the campaign trail this week in his first public appearance since suffering a stroke.
Sen Gene Yaw
Yaw was elected to the state Senate in 2008. He is currently chairman of the Environmental Resources and Energy committee and is chair of the Center for Rural Pennsylvania. Yaw was Lycoming County solicitor for 17 years.
Yaw was in the U.S. Army as an artillery officer, doing a tour of overseas duty. He lives in Loyalsock Township with his wife, Ann. He has two children and two grandchildren.

Washington D.C. (AP) — Pennsylvania's Republican governor nominee Doug Mastriano is appearing Tuesday before the Jan. 6 committee investigating the U.S. Capitol insurrection as the panel probes Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
