Pa General Assembly 68th Legislative District
The PA House of Representatives District 68 has been represented by Clint Owlett since 2018. The district falls along the PA-NY border, and includes all of Tioga County, as well as parts of Bradford and Potter counties.
Mansfield and Wellsboro are found in District 68, which had a population of 59,039 as of the 2010 census.
Manufacturing is a top industry in the region, and many other jobs involve natural resources and energy, forestry and agriculture.
This district’s abundant forests and waterways provide recreational opportunities and contribute to tourism in the region. The Tioga State Forest is located in District 68 and its many local state parks. Visitors to the area can also find Tioga-Hammond Lakes Recreation Area, Cowanesque Lake Natural Area and Asaph Run, which is popular for trout and fly fishing.
Attractions in the district include Miles Mountain MX, Wolf Springs Off-Road Park and Pine Creek Gorge, otherwise known as the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.
