Pa General Assembly 67th Legislative District

 

The PA House of Representatives District 67 has been represented by Martin Causer since 2003. The district lies along the PA-NY border, and includes all of Mckean and Cameron counties, as well as part of Potter County.

 

Bradford, Coudersport and Smethport are located in District 67. As of the 2010 census, the population for this region was 56,066. An estimated 13-17% of residents in each county fall below the poverty line. 

 

As part of the Lumber Heritage Region of PA, District 67 is full of state forests, hiking trails, natural areas and state parks. Some of these include Elk State Forest, Quehanna Wild Area, Sinnemahoning State Park and Cherry Springs State Park. 

 

Parts of state game lands 30, 59 and 204, as well as the Allegheny River, are found in this district. 

 

Major attractions include Kunzua Bridge State Park and the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. Along with lumber, manufacturing is a major industry in this region.
