MUNCY - Sylvia C. McMahon, 82, of Muncy died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at her home.
Born Jan. 27, 1937 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Alvin L. and Edna M. (Clark) Edkin.
Sylvia was an avid quilter who also enjoyed knitting, camping, playing bocce ball, and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of God, Montgomery, and the quilting guild.
Surviving are three daughters, Ann M. Thomas of Williamsport, Tina M. Hill of Hughesville, and Shelly A. Harris of Colorado; three sons, Fran E. Miller of Hughesville, Rich A. Miller of Berwick, and Paul E. McMahon of Hughesville; three sisters, Joyce Enick of Montoursville, Carol Zane of Montoursville, and Nancy Ryder of Hughesville; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Jim McMahon; and two sons, Norman L. Miller, and Maurice J. Miller.
A memorial service was be held on Oct. 4, at the Church Of God, 7008 Route 405 Hwy, Montgomery, with Pastor Kevin Redesky and Rev. Isaac Wilson, co-officiating. Burial was held privately in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
