SHAMOKIN - Toya L. Moser, 25, of Shamokin formerly of Hughesville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Williamsport on Sunday, August 29, 1993, the daughter of Tabitha A. Oliver of Shamokin.
Toya was a free-spirited person who enjoyed life to the fullest every day. Growing up she enjoyed going to Christian Camp and camp Victory. She loved the beach and amusement parks.
Toya loved spending time at the horse stables in Lewisburg. Even through 130 surgical procedures, she always had a positive outlook on life. Toya was a huge dog lover and enjoyed shooting rifles with her pap and sharing long conversations with her grammy. She was always the joy of the day and family gatherings and loved to tell stories. Her favorite childhood snacks were Middleswarth BBQ chips and Schneider’s chocolate milk and she enjoyed long car rides.
Toya is survived by her mother and stepfather, Tabitha and Alan B. Oliver of Shamokin; a sister, Gracie M. Dannheimer of Shamokin; her maternal grandparents, Allen D. and Belinda A. Moser of Dushore; her maternal great-grandparents, Irvin W. and Patricia A. Michael of Muncy Valley, and by a stepbrother, Alan B. Oliver, Jr.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 17, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home 557 East Water St., Hughesville, with Pastor Zachary Woods officiating.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
