LOYALSOCK - God welcomed home Marjorie May (Litz) Campman, 99, into his Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, May 12, 2019, from AristaCare at Loyalsock.
Campman was born in Lock Haven, on May 22, 1919, a daughter of George E. and Elva (Young) Litz. She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and retired after more than 30 years at Xerox Corp.
She enjoyed reading, especially on her back patio. She looked forward to watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, snacking on KitKat candy bars and shopping. When she was younger, she enjoyed going to the beach and crocheting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Campman was proceded in death by her husband, Glen D, Campman, who died in April of 1969; and by her parents, two sisters, Elinor Viola Ruhl and Mildred Hamm, and a brother, Melvin Litz.
She is survived by four children and their families: Glen Campman, of Albuquerque, N.M., Sandie (William Sr.) Campman Hill, of Newport, TN;, David Campman, of Albuquerque, N.M., Linda (Allen) Campman Ruble, of Williamsport; as wll as the following grandchildren - Gary Campman, Larry Campman, Jeanette Revilla, Glen Campman Jr., William Hill Jr., Robert Hill, David Campman Jr., Megan Campman, Alexandra Campman, Lorene Hope Campman. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held yesterday in the Chapel at Rest Haven Cemetery, Woolrich, followed by burial in Rest Haven.
