MONTGOMERY - Dorothy M. "Dottie" LeVan, 79, a resident of Muncy, Pa., passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence.
Born Monday, June 3, 1940 in Montgomery, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Maldon T. and Mildred C. (Andrews) Neufer. Dottie was the wife of Myron K. LeVan with whom she celebrated a 62nd wedding anniversary on June 28, 2019.
Dottie had been employed by the former Montgomery Mills and GTE Sylvania at Montoursville.
She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. Dottie was an avid NASCAR and New York Yankees baseball fan. She was most fond of spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Michael K. and his wife Coreen LeVan of Muncy; Vickie LeVan Gray of Muncy; four grandchildren, Corey Gray of Hughesville; Brooke Gray of Muncy; Lacey LeVan and fiancee Anthony Masser of Allenwood, and Travis LeVan and fiancee Jordan Bowersox of Muncy; six great-grandchildren, Jacob Gray; Lilly Koch; Gavin Lindsey; Noah Koch; Carson LeVan; Cameron Masser and her devoted dachshund, Wyatt.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet L. Digan; Joanne M. Reynolds and one brother, David W. Neufer.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery at Montgomery with Chaplain Thomas Brokaw of UPMC Susquehanna Health officiating.
