Doris Marian Kriner, of Loyalsock Township, passed away on April 10, 2019, at Valley View Nursing Center.

Born on Aug. 11, 1924, in Milton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew L. and Margaret Sullivan Leuthner. Growing up in Williamsport, she married Harold T. Kriner on Feb. 7, 1947. He passed on Sept. 29, 2003.

She worked in various Williamsport area factories from World War II until retirement. Doris was a member of St Ann's Roman Catholic Church since the middle 1950s. She took great pleasure in organizing and working church rummage sales. She was an active grandmother and great-grandmother until dementia took its toll.

Doris is survived by her son Ted and wife Mary Rose Hamm Kriner as well as grandchildren, Kathryn Kriner Matilla (Phillip), Christopher Kriner (Heather), and Mary-Margaret Megan Kriner Adamski (William). Geat-grandchildren are Joseph and Sophia Matilla and Jared, Brendan and Kaylene Kriner. Surviving siblings are Irene Connelly, Mary Wasson, Frank Leuthner and Ida Buchanan. There are also several in-laws and many nieces and nephews surviving.

She was predeceased by sisters Wanda Sterner-Bower-James and Ernestine Derr and brothers Paul Leuthner and Arthur Leuthner.

The family received friends on April 14 at Crouse Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, April 15, at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, with the Rev. John J. Victoria officiating. Burial was held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
