MONTGOMERY - David A. "Picky" Bower, 55, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at his residence. Born Tuesday, September 10, 1963, in Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming County, he was a son of the late Clifford and Betty (Cameron) Bower.
Dave was a 1981 graduate of Montgomery High School and earned a masonary degree in 1983 from the former Williamsport Area Community College. He was employed as a sewer plant operator by the Montgomery Water & Sewer Authority.
Picky was an avid hunter, enjoyed NASCAR racing and family picnics. He was a member of the Last Arrow Hunting Camp in Tioga County.
He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Connie Bennett, one daughter, Tiffany Bower of Montgomery; one step-daughter, Becky Houseknecht of Ralston; three brothers, Gary Cameron (Diane) of Montgomery, John Bower of Montgomery, Clifford Bower (Cindy) of Williamsport; and one sister, Mary Buck of Hughesville. He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, eight nieces and nine nephews.
A celebration of Dave's life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Co., 2311 Route 54 Highway, Montgomery.
