LINDEN - Clyde H. Myers, 88, of Linden, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at UPMC Susquehana, Williamsport, with his family by his side.
He was married to Martha M. Waltz for 64 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Steven C. (Dotty) Myers of Williamsport; two daughters, Sally M. (Pete) Wingo of Linden and Shirlene A. (Wayne) Hepler of York; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Clyde was a lifetime member of Pine Run United Methodist Church. He worked at Ille Electric, E.H. Hall, Dunlaps, and Ken Bergren Inc. Clyde also was a life long farmer.
Clyde lived to serve his Lord and Savior, and lived his life being a witness to others and touching many people throughout his 88 years. He served as a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School superintendent for many years. Clyde and Martha sang in a Gospel Quartet called the Evangeliers and also sang with family. He enjoyed music, hunting, cutting wood, horse pulling, road trips and time spent with his family.
Although Clyde was ushered into Heaven by an army of angels and has left this earth, he left a legacy for all to live by for those who knew and loved him.
A celebration gathering will be at held at the Pine Run United Methodist Fellowship Hall at the convenience of the family.
