Bryan S. Waugh, 35, of Williamsport, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1983, in Susquehanna, a son of Steven E. Waugh Sr. and Michele “Missy” (McDermott) Waugh of Williamsport.

Bryan was a 2003 graduate of Williamsport High School and was employed at Kellogg’s in Muncy.

He and his wife of 15 years Stephanie J. (Smith) Waugh raised their children Madison M. Waugh and Noah S.J. Waugh together, but separately. Also surviving are a brother Steven E. Waugh Jr. of West Virginia and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He took so much pride in spending time with his children, whether it was watching them play baseball or softball, taking them on day trips to amusement parks like Hershey Park or Knoebels Grove or spending time at the beach with them. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking and swimming in the creek. Bryan had a love of pets, especially his cat. Bryan was a sports enthusiast; he liked going to Little League games and was an avid pin collector. Some of his other passions were being a huge Ohio State Football fan and a Boston Red Sox baseball fan. He enjoyed shooting pool, comedy movies and lighthouses. He was proud of his Irish heritage but some of his greatest attributes was his sense of humor, his support of family and friends at a time of need and his willingness to help anyone.
