...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central Pennsylvania,

including the following areas, McKean, Northern Lycoming,

Potter, Sullivan, and Tioga.

* Through 10 pm this evening

* Slow moving thunderstorms that will bring locally very heavy to

excessive rainfall amounts of greater than 2 inches in just a

60 minute period.

* Small streams and poor drainage areas in towns will be impacted

initially, with the potential for more widespread stream and

creek flooding in areas that receive several slow-moving

thunderstorms over a period of several hours.
