WILLIAMSPORT -- A City woman was charged with allegedly selling heroin to an undercover officer several times between October 2018 and March 2019 in Williamsport.
Ashley S. Thompson, 25, of the 700 block of W. Edwin Street, was contacted by a Lycoming County Narcotics Enforcement Unit undercover officer on October 31, 2018 to arrange a sale. Thompson allegedly met the officer at the 700 block of W. Fourth Street and sold him $80 of heroin, according to the affidavit.
Thompson allegedly met the officer again on November 13, 2018 at the same location and again on March 31, 2019. She allegedly sold him $80 worth of heroin on each of those dates, according the affidavit.
Thompson was charged with several counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility. Charges were filed at the office of District Magistrate Christian D. Frey. She was remanded to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail.
Thompson's case was waived for court. Her formal arraignment in front of Lycoming County Judge Marc F. Lovecchio is scheduled for May 13.
