According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Brooklyn Nets plan to waive Williamsport native Alize Johnson.

Wojnarowski says the move is actually centered around Brooklyn's fondness for Johnson, and the fact that they are "loaded" at his position. Waiving him gives Johnson an opportunity to sign with another team where he would receive a greater chance at seeing substantial playing time.
