The following incidents in Lycoming County are compiled from Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville faxed reports received since April 7, 2019:
Drug Possession - 4/1/19 at 10:42 a.m. at I-180 East, Loyalsock Township. Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. Upon making contact with the occupants, police determined there was marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle. Allen Summers, 45, of Hughesville, was a passenger in the vehicle and admitted ownership of the drugs and paraphernalia. Police also discovered open alcohol containers in the vehicle. Charges were filed at the office of District Magistrate Gary A. Whiteman.
Theft Bad Checks - 3/29/19 at 11:31 a.m. at Cole's Hardware, 130 Muncy Creek Blvd., Muncy Creek Township. Police received a report of a bad check written to the store. Upon completion of the investigation, Martin Lynn, 41, of Beaver Springs, was charged with writing a bad check.
Firearm Possession Violation - 3/25/19 at 1:40 p.m. at 800 block of Cherry St., Montoursville. Police investigated a report of a Firearm Act violation. During the investigation, Douglass Fredericks, 45, of Linden, was found to be living at a residence where two firearms were found. Fredericks is not to possess a firearm. Charges were filed.
DUI on View - Drugs - 3/19/19 at 3:38 p.m. at Lycoming Creek Road/Trout Run Road, Lewis Township. Police arrested William Kenyon, 46, of Millerton, for suspicion of operating his vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance.
DUI on View - Alcohol - 3/17/19 at 12:39 a.m. at U.S. Highway 15/Route 54, Clinton Township. Police stopped Ryan Beiler, 22, of Mifflinburg, for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, it was determined Beiler was under the influence of alcohol and he was placed into custody for suspicion of DUI. Charges will be filed.
DUI on View - Alcohol - 3/11/19 at 11:12 p.m., at Sheetz, 45 Muncy Creek Blvd., Muncy Creek Township. PSP responded to a report of a driver who appeared to be under the influence. Ranae Jolin, 50, of Hughesville, allegedly drove into the Sheetz paring lot and hit another vehicle. When police arrived, they determined Jolin was operating a vehicle while under the influence. Charges were filed at the office of District Magistrate Jon E. Kemp.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - 3/9/19 at 12:52 a.m. at 2000 block area of Route 287, Mifflin Township. Police responded to a residence for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police discovered the dispute was over a juvenile male who was a frequent drug user. The arrestee, Trina Horn, 39, of Jersey Shore, knew about the drug usage and failed to prevent it. A search of the juvenile's room produced drug paraphernalia. Misdemeanor drug charges were filed against the juvenile through Lycoming County Juvenile Probation office. Corruption of minor charges were filed against Horn.
DUI on View - Alcohol - 2/23/19 at 12:52 a.m. at I-180 West, Williamsport. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by Matthew Shaner, 35, of Williamsport, after numerous traffic violations were observed. After making contact, police determined that Shaner was under the influence of alcohol. Charges were filed.
DUI on View - Alcohol - 2/22/19 at 1 a.m. at I-180 East, Williamsport. Police stopped a vehicle which was traveling west in the eastbound lane of I-180. Police made contact with the driver, Shakeemah Woods, 38, of Williamsport, and determined she was under the influence of alcohol. Charges were filed.
