Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville investigated a number of recent incidents in Lycoming County:
Criminal Mischief, July 14, 2019 to July 15, 2019 at Randall Circle, Loyalsock Township. Police responded to a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, there were two vehicles with ketchup spread across the hood and windshields. The incident occurred during the overnight hours. PFA Violation, July 14, 2019 at 11:38 a.m. at Mifflin Township. Police investigated an incident of a violation of a court ordered protection from abuse order. Through further investigation it was discovered Gerald Rennicks, 31, of Williamsport, had been contacting the victim via text messaging. In the course of the investigation, Rennicks contacted the victim via voice communication and was identified. He was taken into custody and charge with one count of PFA-contempt of court. He was arraigned and remanded to Lycoming County Prison.
Disorderly Conduct, July 12, 2019 at 12:03 a.m. at Sheetz, 45 Muncy Creek Blvd., Muncy Creek Township. Police allege Allan Kovach, 60, of Montgomery, entered the store and began yelling at two men in the store. Security staff contacted police. Kovach was charged with disorderly conduct at the Magisterial Diatrict office of Jon E. Kemp in Muncy.
Criminal Mischief, Between 2 p.m. July 12 and 2 p.m. July 13, 2019 at Route 442, Muncy Creek Township. Police are investigating an incident in which an unknown actor(s) damaged the storm door at the front of a residence. Anyone with information may contact police at 570-368-5700.
Terroristic Threats, July 11, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Veterans Outpatient Clinic, 1705 Warren Avenue, Loyalsock Township. Police investigated an incident involving terroristic threats allegedly made by Guyanthony Roberts, 60, of Covington, while at an appointment at the clinic. Police obtained a warrant and were assisted by PSP Mansfield in serving the warrant. Roberts was arraigned and remanded to Lycoming County Prison.
Retail Theft, July 11, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Kmart, 1915 E. Third Street, Loyalsock Township. Police responded to a report of retail theft. Upon investigation, they determined that Kyle Mayer, 19, of Williamsport allegedly took two items from the store. A summary charge of retail theft was filed against Mayer.
Harassment Physical Contact, July 9, 2019 at 4:33 a.m. at Route 405, Muncy Creek Township. Police were contacted about a disturbance. Upon arrival, police determined Matthew Hamilton allegedly caused the disturbance. A $400 television was damaged. Hamilton was charged with harassment and criminal mischief through the Magisterial District office of Jon E. Kemp in Muncy.
Harassment Physical Contact, July 7, 2019 at 11 p.m. at Waldman Dr., Loyalsock Township. Police said a male and a female entered into a verbal argument. During the argument, the male pushed the female to the ground. The male was charged with harassment.
Disorderly Conduct, Between 11:30 a.m. July 6 and 11:30 a.m. July 8, 2019 at Bomboy Road, Franklin Township. Police said an unknown actor(s) placed a deceased raccoon inside of a victim’s mailbox. On July 1, an unknown actor(s) also placed a deceased skunk in the victim’s mailbox. Anyone with information may contact Trooper Brown at PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
Theft, Between May 10 and May 21, 2019 at E. Third Street, Loyalsock Township. Police said the victim arrived at her rental property and observed that three televisions were missing from her residence. The victim believes that the previous renter stole the items and fled the area.
Disseminate Intimate Image, May 5, 2019 between 5:30 a.m. and 11:52 a.m., Cogan House Township. Police said intimate photographs of a female victim were posted on social media outlets. Charges are pending.
