The following incidents in Tioga County are compiled from faxed reports received from Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield since April 26, 2019:
Criminal Mischief - Between 5/3/19 at 10:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. 5/4/19 at Country Lane and Krise Road, Liberty Township. PSP responded to a report of a loud noise and criminal mischief. It was determined a loud vehicle drove through the victim's property and ran over a cattle gate. No trespassing signs also were run over. A witness heard the vehicle travel away and described it as extremely loud and headed toward McCarthy Hill Road. PSP is investigating.
DUI on View Alcohol - 5/3/19 at 10:04 p.m. at E. Main and 1st streets, Mansfield Borough. PSP conducted a traffic stop on a driver. Upon further investigation, the 23-year-old driver of Millerton was arrested for DUI. Police did not name the driver in their report.
Theft - Between 5 p.m. 5/4/19 and 6 a.m. 5/6/19 at 4300 block of River Road, Ward Township. PSP responded to a report of a stolen trailer. It was determined an unknown individual stole the victim's trailer from his seasonal cabin. The trailer was described as a 2011TWF 12x6 open trailer with a PA registration XGF-8894. PSP Mansfield is investigating.
Harassment Physical Contact - 5/3/19 at 3:24 p.m. PSP responded to a report of a physical altercation between two males. On arrival, it was determined that a verbal argument over a female turned physical when the actor, a 23-year-old man of Wellsboro, hit the victim in the left eye. The actor was cited. Police did not name him in their report.
Criminal Mischief - Between 5 p.m. 5/1/19 and 8:57 a.m. 5/2/19 at 600 block of E. Main Street, Knoxville Borough. PSP responded to a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, it was determined that two windows were broken on the first floor of the residence as well as damage to the plywood door on the side of the garage. PSP is investigating.
Burglary Residential Force - Between 4/8/19 and 5/1/19 at Hornsby Hollow Road, Chatham Township. An unknown actor(s) arrived on the scene and gained access into the victim's unoccupied camper by breaking the door window. Nothing was reported taken. Anyone with information may call PSP Mansfield at 570 662-2151. Damage estimated at $100.
Drug Possession - 4/23/19 at 10:53 a.m. at U.S. 15 North in Tioga Township. Police pulled over Daniel Snyder, 48, of Williamsport, for speeding. He was charged with DUI, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft by Deception - 4/5/19 - The victims reported to police that they were defrauded over $48,000. The victims were deceived after being informed over the phone that their grandson had been arrested and needed money to pay legal fees.
Inspection Station Violation - 3/26/19 at Ken's Auto on Tubbs Road, Osceola. Robert J. Goodier, 46, of Osceola, allegedly performed a PA state inspection on a vehicle and passed it. Upon investigation, it was determined the vehicle should have failed inspection. The shop received a citation.
