Muncy, Pa. – A motorcyclist was injured last weekend after he was ejected from his motorcycle when he crashed on Route 220 in Muncy Township.

Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville said William A. Snyder, 58, of Factoryville, sustained suspected serious injuries from the crash that occurred at 3:05 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Route 220 just west of Oak Run Lane. Snyder was traveling north at an unsafe speed when he went into a left hand curve and overcompensated, causing him to hit the guide rail, police said. Snyder was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the roadway.

Snyder was transported to UPMC Williamsport via ambulance. Police said Snyder was wearing a helmet. The injuries were non-life threatening, according to police.

Muncy Volunteer Fire Company and Cranmer’s Towing assisted at the scene.
