LAIRDSVILLE, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville responded to a report of a gun fired at an individual at 6 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the 1200 block of Funston Road in Franklin Township, Lycoming County.
When troopers arrived on the scene, Randy Swank, 56, of Benton, was outside of the residence. Upon investigation, it was determined Swank fired a handgun in the direction of a male victim, police said. Swank was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment and harassment.
Swank was remanded to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for July 12 at the office of District Magistrate Jon E. Kemp in Muncy.
