Williamsport – The following individuals were charged for allegedly selling narcotics to confidential informants and undercover agents at various locations in Williamsport. The cases were investigated by the Lycoming County Narcotics Enforcement Unit and charges were filed at the office of District Magistrate Christian D. Frey:
Tony Bacon, 55, of 325 High St., allegedly sold fentanyl pills to a confidential informant on Aug. 19, 2019. He reportedly met the informant in the area of Park Avenue and Elmira Street and sold them $200 worth of the pills. Police noted in the affidavit that Bacon had been a suspect in a previous narcotics investigation and was identified by detectives through surveillance video.
Krista R. Meyer, 39, of 945 Memorial Avenue, allegedly sold $50 of cocaine to an informant at her residence on Aug. 7, 2019.
Sue Williams, 51, of 435 Park Ave., was charged for allegedly selling $59 of cocaine to an informant at her home on March 7, 2019. In a separate case, Williams was charged for allegedly selling crack cocaine to an informant on April 17 and 23, 2019 at her residence. The informant paid $80 on each occasion.
Nafis S. Jones, 26, whose address is listed in court documents as Philadelphia, was charged for allegedly selling heroin to a confidential informant on Oct. 23 and 24, 2019 at locations near Newberry Estates at 2500 Federal Avenue. Agents had observed Jones going into an apartment at Newberry Estates after the controlled buys, according to the affidavit. The agents obtained a search warrant for apartment number 245 and served it on Oct. 25. Records showed the apartment was rented by Shakya A. El, 18, of Philadelphia. During the search agents reportedly found a number of items inside: 28 light blue waxen baggies of heroin, packaging items including rubber bands, boxes of waxine baggies and clear baggies, a digital scale and a grinder with residue. El also was charged with alleged narcotics dealing and possession.
Tyren B. Thompson, 40, address listed as unknown in court documents, allegedly sold crack cocaine to an undercover agent on three separate occasions. He first met with the agent on Aug. 12, 2019 at Grier Street and Park Avenue. On Aug. 14, Thompson met the agent at Family Dollar, 1221 W. Fourth Street, and allegedly sold him crack cocaine. The final sale took place on Oct. 21 on Berger Street.
Dante J. Hall, 28, address listed as unknown in court documents, and Stephen T. Russell, 36, of 2305 Reed Street, allegedly sold heroin to a confidential informant on July 10, 2019 at W. Fourth and Berger streets. The confidential informant paid $440 for the heroin. Russell also sold heroin to a confidential informant in the area of Park Place and First Avenue on July 2, 2019, according to the affidavit. Bryheem Bradshaw, 37, of Philadelphia, also was arrested for reportedly being part of the July 2 sale to the confidential informant.
Dennis F. Weaver, 37, whose last known address is listed as 5702 Route 287 in Jersey Shore, allegedly sold 10 Percoset pills for $130 to an undercover agent on April 4, 2019. The sale took place at the Nittany Minit Mart at 2300 W. Fourth Street.
Charges were filed for these individuals the last week of October and first week of November. All were remanded to Lycoming County Prison.
