Little League® International started the new year by announcing a number of promotions and new positions within their Marketing and Communications Department in South Williamsport to provide fresh and innovative marketing initiatives. In addition to all of the promotions, two new job openings are available: Social Media Manager, and Account Executive-Marketing.
“Over the past few years, our department has remained dedicated to providing its local leagues and volunteers with the best possible resources, training tools, and impactful programs while also enhancing our digital strategy to grow the Little League brand,” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “As we look to continue to develop our efforts and take our organization to new heights, these well-deserved promotions will help put us in the best position to succeed and grow the Little League experience for millions of children and volunteers around the world.”
To support the continued efforts between Little League’s marketing and official partnerships, Kevin Feinberg and Grace Christenson have each been promoted to Account Managers to help support the Little League Marketing Department. Mr. Feinberg has been with Little League since 2016 while Ms. Christenson joined the team in 2017, both as Sponsorship and Marketing Coordinators. In 2017, both Mr. Feinberg and Ms. Christenson were elevated to Account Executives within the marketing department and have since played an important role in the growth and development of Little League’s official sponsorship program along with the new business partnership with Major League Baseball.
During his time at Little League, Mr. Feinberg has led the growth of the Canon Little League Photo Contest, the development of the MLB Little League Days program, and the onboarding of one of Little League’s newest sponsors, T-Mobile, through the launch of their T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby and a number of other local league initiatives this past year.
Since joining Little League in 2017, Ms. Christenson has played a pivotal role in the growing relationships with DICK’S Sporting Goods and their efforts to provide additional technological and financial support to local leagues, served as an important liaison with American Honda and the Honda Little League Grant program, and has been instrumental in the successful launch of Little League’s most recent sponsor, adidas, and the introduction of their uniform, footwear, and apparel partnership efforts around the Little League World Series tournaments.
“Sponsorships require intensive collaboration, and since joining our team, Kevin and Grace have played an important role in providing the necessary resources to nurture our existing relationships,” said Dustin Solomon, Little League Senior Director of Marketing. “We are confident in their ability to take on this new role as we continue to grow our organization and are looking forward to seeing our department grow under their leadership.”
With the promotion of both Mr. Feinberg and Ms. Christenson, a new full-time Account Executive-Marketing position has also been established to help expand the department and further provide resources and support to Little League’s official partners. With an increased focus on the growing use of technology, Mike Weslosky, former Senior Manager of Digital Media, has been promoted to Director of Web and Emerging Technologies. A member of the communications department at Little League International since 2013 where he started as the Web Development Manager, Mr. Weslosky has helped to develop and enhance Little League’s web presence, launched the new Little League Rulebook App in 2019, and has assisted with the operations and development of the digital content used on the scoreboards at the Little League Baseball® World Series.
Additionally, Amanda Cropper-Rose, former Graphic Designer, has been promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. Serving as the Graphic Designer for Little League since 2014, Mrs. Cropper-Rose has helped to modernize the look and feel of the Little League program, enhanced the visual display throughout the entire Little League International Complex, and provided a more consistent, creative approach to all of the communications efforts of Little League International, including the award-winning Girls with Game campaign that began in 2019.
Along with these promotions, Dallas Miller, former Director of Digital Media, will also be taking on the new position of Director of Social and Digital Strategy. Since joining the Little League staff in 2015, Mr. Miller has established Little League’s overall social media strategy while also serving as a driving force in the enhancement and development of digital solutions by the organization, including the growth of Little League Baseball World Series highlights, enhanced relationships with Major League Baseball and other digital marketing and promotional efforts.
As part of Mr. Miller’s promotion and a newly established structure within the department, a new Social Media Manager position to handle the day-to-day efforts of Little League’s official social media platforms has also been made available.
