Williamsport – Three people have been charged in relation to an assault and attempted stabbing in Williamsport on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
Iyonna Eddins, 19, Austin P. Murray, 21, and An-nisa N. Jones, 20, all of Williamsport, were charged on Tuesday for felony charges of criminal trespass and misdemeanor charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal mischief.
The trio allegedly went to the home of Asia Ceasar around 2 p.m. March 17 at the 300 block of Campbell Street in an attempt to confront Diam Brown, who was at the home at that time.
Murray, Eddins, and Jones broke the front window of the home to gain access, according to the affidavit written by Williamsport Bureau of Police officer Addison Gingrich. Brown and Caesar were hiding in the bathroom when Murray and the two women forced their way into the room. Murray and the two women then began punching Brown. Eddins and Jones “displayed a knife in an attempt to stab Brown,” Gingrich wrote. Brown and Caesar fought the group until they fled the scene.
Murray was arraigned at the office of District Magistrate Christian D. Frey on Tuesday. Bail was set at $20,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 7.
Eddins and Jones are awaiting their preliminary hearings.
