A Muncy woman reportedly passed out in a car she stole after smoking methamphetamine, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said Tiffany Marie Fox, 29, of 1635 State Route 442, Muncy, Pa., was reported unresponsive in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked at 220 Confer Lane, Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County, around 7 a.m. on April 9, 2019.
The keys were in the ignition, according to the affidavit by Montoursville State Police Trooper Aaron Brown.
Fox reportedly told police she took "10 cc of methamphetamine" on April 8, 2019, before stealing the vehicle from Muncy Homes Inc., 1567 State Route 442, Muncy, Pa, early April 9, 2019.
Fox allegedly told police she observed the vehicle to be unlocked with the keys in the ignition in the parking lot the business on or about April 9, 2019.
Her driver's license was suspended at the time of the alleged offense, according to Brown's affidavit.
Fox was held for court on one count each of third degree felony theft by unlawful taking - movable property, third degree felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor DUI: controlled substance - impaired ability - first offense, second degree misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, summary driving without a license, summary driving while operating privileges suspended, and summary careless driving.
Her bail was set at $25,000 and she was confined to Lycoming County Prison on April 9, 2019, according to court documents.
She was transferred to State Correctional Institution Muncy on April 30, 2019, court records stated.
Fox is scheduled for a formal arraignment before Lycoming County Judge Marc F Lovecchio on May 13, 2019.
