***Police Activity*** 4/1/18 – 4/7/18

4/1 – Montoursville – An Officer assisted PSP with by looking for a vehicle in town that they were pursuing.

4/1 – Airport – An Officer responded to the report of a 911 hang up. Upon arrival, he learned it was dial by accident.

4/2 – 10 block Howard St – An Officer responded to a burglar alarm. A proper pass code was given by a person on scene.

4/3 – 200 block N Washington St – An Officer took a report about a firearm that was stolen from a truck sometime over the past few months. The firearm was located by the County Narcotics Enforcement Unit during a search warrant being served.

4/2 – 400 block Broad St – An Officer responded to the report of a person having difficulty breathing.

4/3 – Middle School – An Officer investigated the report of a criminal mischief. The Officer was able to identify the person responsible. The incident will be handled by the school.

4/3 – Montoursville – A man with an arrest warrant turned himself in to Police. He was taken and arraigned before Judge Whiteman.

4/4 – Montour Beverage – An Officer witnessed a vehicle sitting in the parking lot after midnight on multiple occasions. The Officer stopped and identified the occupants. Nothing further to report at this time.

4/4 – 700 block Mulberry St – Two Officers responded to an unknown medical emergency.

4/4 – 700 block Fairview Dr – An Officer responded to the report of a domestic disturbance. The incident was verbal only and was mediated. No further action was needed.

4/4 – Montoursville – An Officer responded to the report of a domestic involving a husband chasing his estranged wife in a vehicle through Montoursville and onto I-180 E. The Officer, with assistance from PSP, was able to locate the husband and get him stopped. He was upset his wife picked up their child and had another man in the car. A summary charge of Harassment will be filed.

4/4 – Weis Markets – An Officer responded to the report of arcing wires on a pole behind the store. The Officer located the issue and directed the Fire Department to the location once on scene.

4/4 – I-180 W – An Officer responded to the report of a hit and run. A vehicle spun out, hit the center guide wire and fled the scene. The vehicle was not located.

4/5 – 400 block Cherry St – An Officer took a report of a missing/runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later located and was with a relative. No further action taken.

4/6 – 900 block Broad St – An Officer picked up a loose dog and transported it to the SPCA.

4/6 – Jersey Shor State Bank – An Officer responded to a hold up alarm. Upon arrival, it was learned that it was a false alarm.

4/6 – Walmart – An Officer responded to the report of a female high on drugs. Upon arrival, the Officer located the female who admitted to being under the influence of marijuana and pain pills. The female did not have any illegal drugs or paraphernalia on her. Her action did not rise to the level of Public Intoxication. She was given a ride home. No further action taken.

4/7 – Lowes – An Officer responded to the report of a water flow alarm. Upon arrival, it was learned to be a false alarm.

4/7 – Indian Park – At approximately 1am, an Officer saw and made contact with a man walking in the park. The man claimed to be walking to Walmart from Rt 87. It was learned the man had a warrant and was taken to the Lycoming County Prison.

4/7 – 10 block O’Dell Rd – An Officer responded to assist PSP with a domestic. Upon arrival, the actor fled the scene. The actor was found shortly after and taken into custody for an active warrant.
