Ogdensburg, Pa. – A Canton man was taken into custody for stealing a parked vehicle at a church in Tioga County, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Mansfield.

Michael Campbell, 28, allegedly went to the parking lot of Ogdensburg Church on Route 414 in Union Township shortly after 10 p.m. February 10 and stole a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Campbell had driven into the church parking lot in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, which police later determined was also stolen.

Campbell was charged with one felony count of theft by unlawful taking, two felony counts of receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of unauthorized use of automobiles and other vehicles.

Campbell was arraigned at the office of District Magistrate Tiffany Cummings in Mansfield. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on February 19 at Cummings’ office.
