State police at Lamar recently arrested a Lock Haven man who allegedly admitted to being under the influence of the designer drug bath salts in public.
According to a PSP press release from March 25, Chase H. Counsil, 28, was taken into custody near the 200 block of Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, on March 17.
Investigating officer Timothy Wright said they arrested Counsil for "public intoxication and similar misconduct."
"The actor was suspected to be and later admitted to being under the influence of the designer drug, bath salts," Wright wrote.
Counsil was taken to UPMC Lock Haven for a medical evaluation and then cleared.
"Once cleared from the hopsital he was taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility," Wright wrote.
Counsil was charged with one summary count of public intoxication and is awaiting a summary trial before District Judge John W. Maggs on May 11, 2020.
