Suspected narcotics packaging fell out of a prisoner's nightgown during a strip search at State Correctional Institution Muncy, state police reported.
A blue latex glove fingertip fell to the floor when Daniele Nicole Dill, 33, removed her nightgown for a strip search on April 27, 2019, according to an October 21, 2019, affidavit by Pennsylvania State Police Trooper James Nestico.
Two white packets containing an unknown white powdered substance and two more blue glove finger tips fell to the floor from Dill's vaginal area during the strip search by a corrections officer, according to police.
"Dill stated to [the corrections officer] that the items were heroin and she brought them in from the street," Trooper Nestico wrote.
The items were tested at the Wyoming Regional Laboratory and identified as acetyl fentanyl and fentanyl, schedule one and schedule two drugs, respectively.
Dill was charged with ungraded felony possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, and second degree felony possession of a controlled substance contraband/inmate.
Defense counsel submitted court papers indicating Dill intends to plead guilty to second degree felony possession of a controlled substance contraband/inmate, with a plea recommendation of one to two year state correctional institution.
She is scheduled for a formal arraignment before President Judge Nancy L. Butts on December 2, 2019.
