A $3 theft from Family Dollar recently landed a Williamsport man in jail for 161 days, Lycoming County Courthouse records stated.

Kenneth Williamson, 55, pleaded guilty to third degree misdemeanor receiving stolen property on Feb. 14, 2020. Judge Ryan M. Tira sentenced Williamson to 80 to 161 days county jail with 161 days credit for time served.

Williamson took the money from the Family Dollar store on 1221 West Fourth Street on September 5, 2019,  according to the affidavit by Williamsport City Police Department Officer William D. Badger.

This was Williamson's sixth theft-related arrest since 2006, according to court records.
