Abraham Ferraro: Every Which Way
Abraham Ferraro will feature several bodies of work in this exceptional exhibition including the larger than life Directions, a series of mail-able sculptures complete with addresses, postage, shipping labels, and installation directions. Ferraro is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in sculpture, installation, and performance. His award winning work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is included in various collections.

Explore "Vincent Cianni: A Survey" 
The Lycoming Art Gallery invites Williamsport and the surrounding communities to explore a powerful and moving collection of photography by internationally recognized documentary photographer Vincent Cianni. The exhibit, titled "Vincent Cianni: A Survey," will be open to Lycoming students, faculty, and the general public beginning Friday, March 1, with a reception beginning at 5 p.m., and a gallery talk slated for 5:30 p.m., with gallery hours extended until 9 p.m. for that evening.
 
His photography has also been featured in Double Take, Aperture, The New YorkerPhotography as Activism; New York 400: A Visual History of America's Greatest City; and The Polaroid Book: Selections from the Polaroid Collection of Photography, among others.

DETWILER PLANETARIUM                               700 College Place
Lycoming College invites the Williamsport community to enjoy free shows in its Detwiler Planetarium on March 1. The shows, which are part of Williamsport First Friday, begin at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and are open to the public.
March's show will provide attendees a look at how indigenous peoples practiced astronomy. The show will survey some tribal descriptions of the night skies, including full moons, constellations, milky way, and more.
Free tickets are available that evening starting at 5 p.m. outside the planetarium. Seating is first come, first seated. The planetarium is located in the Lynn Science Center on the corner of  
Washington Boulevard and Mulberry Street.

Join us for a First Friday where we laissez le bon temps rouler! It's Mardi Gras time, and we'll be pulling out some great dishes and cocktails from the Big Easy, and feasting and partying all night long. Plus, artist Lena Yeagle will be demonstrating papier mache mask-making in the lounge-Lena has quite the talent with paste and paper, so this is a demo that's not to be missed...
