Pennsylvania's 2020 trout stocking schedule is now available online and on the FishBoatPA mobile app, according to the PA Fish and Boat Commission.
Search the schedule by county, find a waterway in the alphabetical list, and find stocking dates and the species of trout that will be stocked.
About 3.2 million trout will be stocked in 707 streams and 130 lakes that are open for public angling. This year, the Fish and Boat Commission also plans to double the amount of trophy-sized trout being stocked - about 60,000 fish, most of which will be stocked during the preseason.
The statewide opening day of trout season is Saturday, April 18, 2020, with a Mentored Youth Trout Fishing Day on April 11.
Before the statewide opening, there will be a Regional Mentored Youth Trout Fishing Day on March 28 in Southeast Pennsylvania, and the same region's trout fishing season begins on April 4.
Make sure to pick up your 2020 fishing license through the Fish and Boat Commission before you go out!
