Montoursville — Christian and gospel singer Nick Biddle is hosting a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, located at 4980 Lycoming Mall Drive. Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert presents music from Prince of Peace, Biddle’s collection of Christmas songs that joyfully celebrate the birth of Christ. Selections walk the listener through the biblical Christmas account using scripture and familiar favorites like O Holy Night and Mary Did You Know. "It truly will be an evening proclaiming hope," the singer says.

In addition, the concert also includes classical and traditional material such as composer John Rutter’s Candlelight Carol and Bing Crosby’s White Christmas.

The title track, written by Twila Paris and arranged by Tom Fettke, is a beautiful, modern arrangement. Also featured in the concert is It’s About The Cross, a beloved song by the gospel quartet The Ball Brothers. Biddle says, “This song will be the exclamation point for preparing our hearts for the true meaning of Christmas.”

Biddle, a tenor/baritone, has been concerting for 16 years and studied voice at Les Chanteuses Voice Studio with teacher Suzanne Revak-Fedele.

Prince of Peace, By Our Love – a worship collection, and He’s Always Been Faithful – a hymn collection are available for listening free at CDs will be available at the concert.
