COGAN STATION -- Fairlawn Community Church is collecting items to donate to hurricane victims in Florida. The items will be sent with a hurricane relief team who will be going to Southern Florida from September 30 to October 7 to assist in clean up efforts.

The exact destination will be determined over the next week as the needs throughout the southern region of Florida and the Keys are being assessed. The team is coordinating with a mission organization, Envision Miami (a Christian and Missionary Alliance mission organization).

Through the generosity of local businesses, Sid’s Trucking and Bimbo Bakeries, the team will be taking a tractor trailer load of supplies.
