Do you need a reason to get out of the house? Tired of the winter doldrums? Escape and embark on your own winter adventures at R.B. Winter State Park's 24th annual Snowfest! The festival will have events for all ages, so the entire family can enjoy the frosty fun!

Snowfest will be held at R.B. Winter State Park in Mifflinburg on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from noon to 4 p.m.

The events of Snowfest will include a 5k trail race (register here), a winter search and rescue game with the help of dogs, mountain biking, an appearance by Smokey the Bear, ice carving demonstrations, informational environmental programming, games of broomball and snow volleyball, nature activities and winter story times for kids, and much more! Refreshments will be available throughout the festival at concession stands.

More weather-dependent activities may include snow shoe hiking, cross country skiing, ice skating, ice rescue demonstrations, ice fishing skill exercises, and snowmobile safety courses and rides.

If the weather on Sunday makes snow or ice dependent activities unsafe or impossible, these events will be changed to more suitable ones. The finalized agenda will only be available on Sunday at the Halfway Run Environmental Learning Center.
