Rock singer Eddie Money died at the age of 70 on Friday, within weeks of telling the world that he was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Money had revealed in August that the malignancy had spread to his liver and lymph nodes. His most well-known hit songs include "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Two Tickets to Paradise." Money's family announced that he passed away peacefully early Friday morning. "It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our loving husband and father. We cannot imagine our world without him. We are grateful that he will live on forever through his music," the family said in a statement. A special episode of "Real Money," a reality series that followed the daily lives of Money, his wife and their five children, was aired on AXS TV on Thursday, the day before his death was announced.
