On the evening of Thursday, April 9, the Penn State University Cooperative Extension will host a free webinar to discuss the CARES Act and Paycheck Protection Program and what these mean for independent contractors and sole proprietors in the agricultural field.
According to the PSU Extension, many farms and other agricultural businesses qualify for Paycheck Protection Program loans but may not be aware of it.
To join the webinar, click here to register by 6 p.m. on Thursday. Once you register, PSU will send email instructions on how to access the program. The webinar will begin at 7 p.m. and last for roughly an hour.
The webinar will be hosted by Carla Snyder and Daniel Brockett, experts in community development, agriculture and farmers' market development, farm marketing, and other related subjects.
