The GIANT Company announced some changes to the operation of their pharmacies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beginning on March 25, in-store pharmacies will open at 6 a.m. each Wednesday until further notice to accommodate older and immunocompromised members of the community who are taking advantage of the restricted morning shopping hour.

In addition to the modified schedule, senior customers can pick up their prescriptions using the GIANT Direct parking spaces at their local store. Prescriptions will need to be paid for by credit card in advance, which can be done by calling the pharmacy. To pick up the items, customers should call the pharmacy when they have arrived at the store and a team member will come out to verify information and deliver the prescribed medication.

For those who do not wish to come to the store, The GIANT Company will mail prescriptions through UPS. Like the GIANT Direct pick-up, mailed prescriptions must be paid in advance with a credit card. The prescription will be delivered in approximately two business days. There is no additional shipping charge at this time.
