South Williamsport Area School District Info and News
Williamsport, Pa. – The Lycoming County Commissioners recently awarded over $3 million in COVID-19 relief funding to 11 area school districts.
Jamie Flick and Secoy Roberts, along with Roberts' mother Tasia, are a shining light of hope in a day and age where acceptance and the ability to embrace seem so difficult to find.
The South Williamsport Area School District began the school year with a hybrid approach. Students meet for two days of in-person learning and complete the other three school days on school-issued iPads.
The South Williamsport Area School Board met on July 27 to discuss and vote on a return to school this fall using a hybrid approach. Students will return to buildings two days per week and will participate in online learning the other three days of the week. Students will be provided with iPads.
