Mansfield University is operating with approximately 75% of all courses provided remotely (online), and the remaining 25% of delivered partially or entirely face-to-face. 

The university has reduced their residential campus population to approximately 1/3 of total capacity by restricting campus living.

Despite the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) decision to combine Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield universities as Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, students of the universities need not worry about their sports teams combining.

Bloomsburg, Pa. — Students attending any of the 14 state-owned universities will begin the fall term without a tuition increase, following a decision of the Board of Governors for Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) on Thursday, April 14.

As area universities respond to COVID-19, they are issuing updated plans for the spring semester. Bloomsburg University will shift online temporarily, while Mansfield will begin in-person for all students, assuming testing requirements are met.
