Sheetz is in the midst of its 27th annual December donation drive for Sheetz for the Kidz this year, an initiative which works to make the holiday season brighter for underprivileged children. Throughout December, customers can support kids in their local communities through donation boxes near the register, or by adding donations to their purchases at the point of sale.

100% of donations to Sheetz for the Kidz go to local children, providing new toys, clothes, and other basic needs. Each one of Sheetz's 597 stores supports about 16 children from their local communities.

Sheetz employees volunteer their time to shop, wrap gifts, and host holiday parties for children and their families. At the parties, Santa greets children and presents them with new toys, clothing, and other necessities that were purchased specifically for them. The kids and their families will enjoy food, crafts, games, and pictures with Santa.

The company estimates that at least 9,600 kids will be supported by Sheetz for the Kidz this December.

If you would like to get involved with Sheetz for the Kidz, here are some ways to do so:

  • Donate at checkout throughout December
  • Purchase a Sheetz For the Kidz water, with 25 cents from each bottle directly supporting the charity
  • Shop on AmazonSmile and select "Sheetz For the Kidz" as the charity of your choice. Amazon will donate .5% of your purchases to the charity
  • Donate online
  • Purchase Sheetz Art Project swag here

This also marks the 16th consecutive year of Sheetz For The Kidz partnering with Make-A-Wish to grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Sheetz plans to sponsor 55 wishes this year.
