A quintessential small-town winter street fair, Benton Winterfest, is planned for Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, in downtown Benton, Pa. During this fourth annual Winterfest, Santa and his elves will be on hand to welcome kids at this family-friendly event. Enjoy breakfast with Santa at the Benton Christian Church social hall beginning at 9 a.m. For tickets email email@example.com. Kids 12 to adult are $6, ages 5-12 are $3, and under five are free but require a ticket.
Throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy local food, live entertainment, and lots of unique handmade items, from woodworking to ceramics, homemade foods, and more will be available from more than 75 vendors.
Food vendors include kielbasa, Tony’s Steaks, pierogies, homemade soups, burgers, and more.
Benton is known for antique shops all along Main Street, including Bakery Antiques and Benton Antique Company, as well as Crafty Creations, Black Bear Pottery, and the Do Drop In Thrift Store.
Kids can have their faces painted, participate in several craft activities, and pet the donkeys from Young’s Funny Farm. Other family-friendly activities include horse-drawn wagon rides from Vasteen’s Farm and mini photo sessions by Nicole Dumond Photography.
