Located at 140 W. 4th St., Williamsport, across the street from PNC Bank, the Williamsport Artisan Shop is the new evolution of the Arthaus Projects space. Rather than the traditional ten-exhibitions-per-year schedule, Arthaus will now showcase four month-long projects and host the Artisan Shop during the remaining eight months of the year.

The Artisan Shop will pop up in 2020 from January 3 - April 25, will return July 3 - September 26, and will close out the year in December.

The Williamsport Artisan Shop is a new initiative meant to give more opportunities to artists while showcasing more work in the gallery space. The Artisan Shop features handmade items by artists from all over the world. Everything is hung salon style and styles vary from classic to contemporary. The shop is sure to have something for everyone’s style and taste.

Artwork will change quite frequently as new artists are introduced to the spaces, so visitors are encouraged to come back throughout the month.

If you are an artist that would like to feature work in the space, please email examples of your work to john@arthausprojects.com. There is no fee to showcase and the gallery takes a modest 30% commission on anything sold.

Regular hours for the Williamsport Artisan Shop are Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.. A website featuring all the works on display is in the works and will be made available on the Artisan Shop website
