Williamsport – Big telecom companies are passing over rural areas and it’s now up to local communities to find their own broadband solutions, according to analysts at a public meeting Wednesday.  

The public has an opportunity to share high-speed Internet (broadband) issues at meetings that will guide a study to help address broadband needs in four counties. Attendees also will hear more information about the study and how it may help them.
