JERSEY SHORE—The directors and staff of Maneval Allen Redmond and Rearick-Carpenter funeral homes will host an open house to highlight the opening of their new crematory facility.
Tributes of Life Crematory, located at 1000 Hill Alley, Jersey Shore, will be open for tours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
“We are committed to educating families about the cremation process and explaining the benefits of having the process handled here locally in-house by our own staff of professionals,” Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home supervisor Jim Carpenter said.
The facility allows the staff to personally handle all aspects of each cremation service.
“Our new crematory will ensure that loved ones we are entrusted with will never leave our care at any point during the process—a great reassurance to families who want peace of mind about the cremation process," Carpenter said.
The state-of-the-art crematory includes a family gathering and viewing area for those families who wish to witness the beginning of the cremation process. These viewings often provide a sense of closure as well as peace of mind for families.
“We have always prided ourselves on being detail oriented and providing the best possible care for local families and the communities we serve,” said Lou Sibula, supervisor of Maneval Allen Redmond.
Both funeral homes are full service, offering customized planning to reflect each unique life and a wide range of services, including cremation, advance planning, customized tributes and a therapy dog.
