MONTOURSVILLE-- A 5.5-mile microsurfacing project on Interstate 80 in Northumberland and Montour Counties continues this week.

Scheduled work includes the application of an epoxy-based surface treatment on the structure on I-80 westbound over the Route 254/Limestoneville exit in Northumberland County. This work will be performed during daylight hours until 3 PM.

Line painting is scheduled Monday, September 18, in both directions on I-80 from the river bridge at the I-180/Route 147 Interchange in Northumberland County to the Montour County line. This will be a moving operation with no lane closures.

On Tuesday, September 19, paving markings will be placed at the eastbound rest area car parking lot. Half of the car lot will be open at all times.
