Thomas M. Judd, 86, of Williamsport died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Manor Care Health Services.

Born October 1, 1930 in West Chester, he was a son of the late Nelson and Sara Martin Judd.

Tom retired from AVCO after many years of service and enjoyed numerous trips in the United States and abroad with his wife of 64 years, Clara H. (Herritt) Judd, who survives.  He was a member of the John F. Laedlein Masonic Lodge No. 707.

Tom is also survived by two brothers, Joseph and Peter Judd, and a sister, Ellen (Walter) Pimbley, and 18 nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Sue (James) Rennie.  Tom’s many nieces and nephews remember him as an active and loving uncle and a great man.  They will never forget his baseball coaching and his unbridled enthusiasm for college sports.

A memorial service to honor the life of Tom will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A private interment will be held in Jersey Shore Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom’s name may be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
