A geek from way back. Walkie talkies and reel-to-reel tape recorders were toys as a kid, grew up and got a ham license before a drivers license. Loves to study how people communicate using electronic devices and communications protocols.

Served on the Warrior Run High School newspaper staff as a writer.

Was in a rock band in the '80s.... wrote some songs... played guitar, bass and some keyboard... got some airplay.

Got an Amiga computer in the '80s, been doing multimedia since then. Did early packet radio digital image transfers before there was an open Internet. Wrote and published Amigian Beacon newsletter worldwide via packet radio.

Married Lou Kolb in 1989. Lou is a ham, too. Works in commercial broadcast radio.

Associate Degree in Electronic Technology. Online since 1986. Formerly worked for GTE. Holds an Advanced Class amateur radio license (WB3KRN) since the 1980's.
