Betty M. Lockcuff
Betty M. Lockcuff, 85, of Linden, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at her home.
Born Sept. 16, 1927, in Linden, she was the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Dorothy R. Koch Davis.
She was a 1945 graduate of Williamsport High School. Betty was a member of the former Linden United Methodist Church and a member of Pine Run United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Bottle Run Grange. Betty enjoyed bowling at the Harvest Moon, bingo, playing cards, baking whoopie pies every Saturday and attending Albright Life Center.
Nobody had more fun than Betty. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Everyone loved Grandma Betty, and she was affectionately known as Giggles by all her friends and staff at the Albright Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Mona R. (Joe) Bertin of Linden and Lisa M. (Don) Packer of Wadsworth, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Stacie, Denise (Josh), Diana (Kyle), Andrea, Kristin, Justin and Caitlyn; five great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Lockcuff of Avis, and her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Lockcuff; her son, William F. Lockcuff; and her sister, Beverly J. Davis.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to Albright Life, 901 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.
